So I was sitting here the other day and I was thinking about one of the worst games I have ever played on any console. What pray tell could this game be you ask? Well that game is called Sword Quest: Fire World for the Atari 2600. I remember the day that I got this game when I was 9 years old
(mainly wanted it because the cover was really cool). Years later I was reading a magazine and it was talking about some of the worst games ever made and this game was in the list. When I was reading this article I found out that the game was part of a series of games that was a contest. Also when this game was released apparently there was a comic that was supposed to come with it. I actually remember not getting a comic so I had to use my 9 year old mind to figure out what I had to do. All I did was go through all of the levels I could find and get all the treasures that I could find. Once I got said treasure I would put them all in one room. Of course since this was the early 80’s there wasn’t any way to save
the game so you had to play the game from start to finish in one
sitting. I thought that I would show you people out there what a screen
shot from the game looks like If you look in Wikipedia you can find the complete story about this series. I just thought that I would write something about this game. |
