CGI Nebulae (Nebulas) in HD

Every so often, I get the urge to rewrite this program that creates images which I think resemble gas clouds in space.  I think I first wrote it in Atari BASIC on the Atari 130XE back in the 1980s.  This version was written in GFA BASIC 32.  I actually didn't intend to write this version.  I was planning to just fire up the last one I wrote, but I couldn't find the source code, so I just rewrote it.  It uses an expanding spiral (using lots of Sin and Cos functions) to pick points, then plots new points based on the values of their neighbors, with a lot of random numbers thrown in for good measure.  More information about GFA BASIC 32 available at http://gb32.proboards.com/

It seems that YouTube has been randomly unsubscribing people. If you're seeing this, you may want to bookmark the channel page or follow me on Google Plus below to be alerted to new videos.
